A holiday home in Poland: what actually works on the Baltic

The dream says holiday home. The smart question behind it: what still carries in January — and what works for you while you are away?

The dream — and the practice

A holiday home in Poland is quickly googled and quickly bought. The properties whose owners are still happy five years on share one trait: they work outside the season too — as a place to live and as an asset.

Why a city makes the better second home

Gdańsk and Sopot are not stage sets dismantled in September: a philharmonic, universities, Michelin tables, an airport with 60+ direct routes. A holiday apartment in the Old Town or the beach districts is a holiday in July and a living city in January — with a liquid market should you ever sell.

Summers hold at 22–26 °C — seaside weather without heatwaves, and the water is warm from July. The iodine air and Sopot’s spa-town brine were famous here back when “resort” was still a compliment.

If it must be a house

A house by the sea along the coastline, a lakeside house in Kashubian Switzerland half an hour behind it: both exist — and both get the same scrutiny as any listing of ours: land register, condition, an honest price. We work owner-side with curated properties, and search to order when asked.

Rental while you are away

Gdańsk and Sopot carry year-round and seasonal demand at once — a second home here does not have to stand empty. Every listing of ours comes with an investment analysis, and we connect you with vetted local management to run it.

Buying from abroad — without a single flight, if you wish

Live video viewings, a notarial power of attorney, a sworn translator at the notary: the entire purchase can be handled remotely. EU citizens buy with no permit; beyond the price, budget roughly 3% in closing costs — and 0% agency fee with us, because the seller pays us.
